loher stone fort & the kerry way

Within a short walk of the cottage we have ancient forests, neolithic stone circles, and breathtaking views from our location on the Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage is situated on the Kerry Way, one of Ireland's longest (200 km) and most popular walking trail. The trail starts and finishes in the busy tourist destination of Killarney. Looping around the Iveragh Peninsula, the Kerry Way goes anti-clockwise, passing through some of the most isolated and dramatic countryside in the country.
